55 word fiction: Rollercoaster

She loved going on roller coasters. For her, it did rank up there as one of the most exciting things in the world though she was pedantic about the safety aspects. But she forgot about it on that fateful day. Though a section of the ride fell off mid-journey, she just about managed to survive.

  1. Ouch! Now when young I was all for the white-knuckle rides. But older now, I’m able to see the dangers. You’ve caught it well. 🙂

  2. Whoa! And that’s why I no longer go on roller coaster rides.

      Yeah I guess when we get older we start thinking about how safe or unsafe a roller coaster ride actually is.
