Snakes on a plane

Snakes on a plane

As the flight took off, there was a commotion in the cabin about a snake. And before anyone could react, there was pandemonium in the aircraft as what seemed like hundreds of snakes made their way around.

“This is going to be one hell of a long flight.”

Nightmare

Nightmare

It has been more than three years since that day but the nightmares haven’t ended. Since the fateful day, he gets up sweating every night.

Sometimes it is about the people who ended their lives jumping off the building while at other times its the deadly inferno which was burning through the building, the nightmares have just gotten worse.

He still felt guilty for the fact that he survived but so many of his loved ones died in the tragedy. As things got worse, he tried therapy as well. While things did become better initially, everything began to relapse as soon as therapy ended.

His shadow shouts on a nightmare scream. Just when all seemed dark and depressing, he found his calling. He felt that he could try to comfort and help those who had suffered like him but survived to tell the tale.

Lonely

Lonely

Being an introvert was his way of life but

Life around changed within weeks,

Handshakes got replaced by footshakes,

While kisses and hugs were considered dangerous,

Social interactions got replaced by video calls,

While going outside was considered dangerous,

As the world began to lockdown,

The pollution levels plummeted like never before,

While the birds and animals were having all the fun

Loneliness and seclusion inside was taking a toll like never afore,

The sound of the cars on the road and roar of the planes in the sky were absent,

But humans began to adapt and started to gain their composure,

As everything started to go online, it all compensated for the boredom,

The world was much more different than ever before,

But for him it was if he felt a part of it like never afore.
