“Thankfully, we could make it in time for apple picking.”

“Yeah, all the apples look so fresh. This was a lovely experience especially considering the pandemic has pretty much locked down our lives.”

“Though I hope there were less people around.”

Once they were back home, they sanitized everything and made sure to take bath. In times of the pandemic, they always did this whenever they went out.

In the night, they woke up with a sweat having dreamt of someone sitting lifeless on a chair. Had they done the right thing going out in the middle of a pandemic?

It had been a long and dull winter with a lot many snowstorms day in and day out. He was a perspicacious individual who always liked to be engaged in something or the other. For someone as professionally inclined as him, he had to find unorthodox ways to keep himself occupied.

And so at the first instance of summer, he took out his cycle. While he initially thought of the empty roads, he knew that cycling by the sea hearing the waves hit the shore felt blissful.

But as the rains came suddenly, he ran for cover under the gate.

Pandemic woes

The pandemic had a serious impact on their business so much so that they were left dumbfounded on what had actually hit them. They were forced to shut shop and the onus was on them to start afresh.

What better place to restart than the comforts of their homes in the countryside far away from the maddening crowds. And so they set off on the highway. It was important that they took a break to clear their heads and then planned their next move.

The greenery and the fresh air all around provided the necessary peace and calm to think.

The walk

The walk

The group which was slowly walking towards the building had synchronized themselves by now. It was a peaceful walk without any malice whatsoever where they just wanted to make their point heard rather than pelt anything around. But in such situations to ensure everything goes smoothly, Master Crime Fighter was always around.

He knew that his presence was enough to make others shiver and do things the right way.

The authorities had just moved to the new building and were just setting up the furniture when they saw the group and were left wondering on the way they would respond.

The couple had finally decided to leave the city after dilly-dallying for months. While going to a smaller city meant lesser pay, they knew that the benefits outweighed the negatives.

Over the years, they had accumulated many things which had worn out and needed to be thrown away. But now the movers and packers weren’t doing a great job leaving the stuff lying on the road rather than in the bin.

They were looking forward to a life far away from the din of city life amidst the forests and next to the lake with the zephyr hitting their faces.
