For some, winter is all about the dark and dreary months when there isn’t a lot of activity.
But for others, winter is all about the joy and the celebrations of Christmas.
While winter months in a lot many places around the world can be dull and boring with the constant dark clouds and snow, it is also a good time for some winter sports, to watch the Aurora lights and make merry during Christmas.
The aeroplane window is the perfect spot to see the world go by.
There’s so much you can see from the clouds to the lights of a magical city; from an aeroplane far away if you are lucky to even the sea.
It’s the perfect place on a plane if you want to go on a journey like no other.

Parc De Bruxelles (Brussels Park) is the perfect place to get some shade on a hot summer day. That’s what we did when we there many summers ago. It was quite a respite from getting baked under the hot summer sun.

Unlike what many others would think, Kuwait has a lot many gardens and parks which are very green and provide quite a respite from the harsh summers and a lovely hangout during the winters.
And add to that, there are also a few farms which while away from the city center are a nice way to spend the weekend and relax.

Prague is up there as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with its colorful buildings, historic squares and lovely people.
The capital of Czechia is often referred to as the heart of Europe.
If you are looking for nature and green spaces, then you are definitely in the right place. These are some of the pictures from my visit to Prague.

It rarely rains in Kuwait. Though the average yearly rainfall as per many meteorological websites is around 100-150mm a year, I guess there are so many times it doesn’t even rain that much. And therefore heavy rains would be up there among the rarest of the rare events.
These pictures are from the beautiful Shaheed Park after the rains in November 2018. It was the start of the rainiest winter I have seen in Kuwait in my stay of half a decade. The trees look really fresh after the rain.

When I visited Boston during my first visit to USA last October, I was completely in love with the city. While I got to spend only one night there, I really loved whatever the city had to offer. The Boston Public Garden in the center of the city is the perfect place to lose yourself amidst all the greenery. There are benches at different places and the tall thick trees provide a cover fr0m the sun as well.

When I was in the US in October of last year, I loved every bit of seeing fall colours wherever I could. But I never knew that the colours up above in the skies would be equally beautiful too.
These ones are during one of the walks I had taken after a spell of rain in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
