As he remembered the smell of the earth after the first rain of the season, he couldn’t help but visualize the tranquil surroundings. They would always sit in the balcony sipping tea and chatting about the day gone by. It had been six years since she was gone but he still missed her deeply.
He was tired of his relatives foisting their thoughts on him about a second marriage. He felt that they were trying to disparage his feelings for his long lost love.

“Would you marry me?” She couldn’t believe her eyes. Just that morning they were thinking how would they plan their day after the hot air balloon ride. Little did she know what awaited her on the ride itself.
“Yes, I will.” Her happiness knew no bounds as now the surroundings looked even more beautiful from up above.
While they had been together for years, something always came up whenever it came to a long term commitment. But he had it planned out this time. And on the D-Day even the weather gods smiled as it wasn’t as windy as before.

They always loved going to beaches where there wasn’t a lot of crowd just so that they could relax in the calm and tranquil surroundings. They had grown weary to the point of being burnt out from their day jobs and finally when they did get a chance, they packed whatever they could and took off to Punta Cana.
With sunny climes, beautiful palm trees coupled with lovely sandy beaches, this was surely heaven on earth. While they spent their days walking hand in hand and sunbathing, their evenings were all about romantic dinners saying sweet nothings under the stars.

They loved going for long drives every weekend. But this time they wanted to do something different. With regular supplies to last for quite a while including an emergency first aid kit, they set off in their RV for the trip of a lifetime. They intended to drive across America and experience the surroundings firsthand.

As he stepped out onto the portico to feel the first rays of the sun after the harsh winter, he couldn’t help but remember the fun times he had spent with family.
Every weekend, the Smith’s put out the chairs on the portico for some sweet little family time over a cup of coffee, biscuits and a few exciting games. While the oldies engaged in some interesting conversations about life, the youngsters were busy in their fun and games.
The lovely lush green surroundings were like the cherry on the cake as they added a natural element to the place.
