Betrayal

Betrayal

There was a lot that she was left to ponder upon as her friend who liked onomatopoeia betrayed her. He broke her trust by forcing a deal under duress. Despite being lucid enough, she was left penniless. Only divine intervention could save her.

She was there

She was there

He laid awake and said the name into the night. He was making noise by hitting the ark. She was obdurate even though it may have seemed asinine to anyone. While he was honest, her medium sized tricks were enough to illude and if caught to elude others.

She never looked at the arc of life through a prism of right and wrong. And then she was there. He tried to scream but couldn’t.

The food in the new restaurant was delicious. As the waiters kept moving along amidst raucous laughter, he trudged along to find heather being used for cooking.

Zany personality

Zany personality

The late morning was clear and crisp as Sawyer stepped out of the travel hostel. His zany personality didn’t require to refine his antics. While he rushed through the entrance to get married and then eventually crossed the exit to get divorced and out of darkness, his wittiness spoke – “Thankfully, I don’t need to be frugal anymore with the container now full.”

Megalith

Megalith

Action on the giant structure on the patch started by placing the megalith which was a prized catch amongst the batch. The climate was awesome enough to awaken everyone. The engineer did hatch a plan to thatch the roof if they could correlate and match with the right stones.

News

The news on the television makes one hot under the collar providing an illusion that the world is dreadful and needs rectification. And add the pressures of life. This is the icing on the cake.

His riveting speeches on life and more attracted huge crowds wherever he went. The audience always felt that he understood their travails better than anyone else could have ever done. His calm voice coupled with his ability to understand the problems of the current generation was enough to ensure that the people felt a sense of serenity whenever they were there. It was as if they would forget life’s stresses during his speech. He truly seemed more sharp and sentient than most others of his ilk.

“Haven’t you felt eerie around that house?”

“Everytime I pass by the place, I feel a certain sense of dread. While the lights are always on and the gardens manicured quite well, I have never seen anyone around.

“Whoa!” He seemed horror struck.

The two friends had just shifted to the locality and found the things happening in the house quite mysterious.

“The other day I had to pause near the house for some work and I actually felt someone brush past me. But when I looked around, there was no one. It was quite a test of my character.”

Misanthrope

Misanthrope

He always loved seeing the stars from his telescope. While the others would ramble around him about anything and everything under the sun, he would zone out and think about ways to reach the stars. For him it was never about the money or the fame.

All he wanted was to be happy. There were times when he was put in a spot as people around him started calling him a misanthrope. But he didn’t bother one bit and used to mention that if it were him, he would spend few years of his life meditating in an antre.
