For most people, the country Kuwait generally evokes phrases like oil rich nation, hot weather etc. But it’s a country of numerous beaches as well. And what if I tell you that in this country you can take a nice long walk along the beautiful beaches for many months of the year?
The autumn sky off the coast of Palm Jumeirah in Dubai was as clear as ever. A light breeze amidst the afternoon sun had made it a really pleasant day. And I was just reminded of the quote below.
“The blue sky is infinitely high, crystal clear…that’s what the world should be…a world of infinite possibilities, laid before us, crystal clear”

Though it appeared as nothing more than an antique piece of wood for anyone, for Raju it was his daily bread and butter.
For years, he had been taking his wooden boat out into the open sea to get his daily catch of fish for selling in the open market. From extreme heat to deadly winds and rain, his boat had weathered it all.
Seeing that it could sail through every challenge in his life, he had slowly but surely developed an attachment towards it so much so that he refused an offer to put it up in a museum.

As I looked out of the window, I could see the dark clouds boiling with rage in the distance. As they neared the city, the sky turned gloomy. The sea was rough and the waves were battering the shore relentlessly. It mirrored the sense of tension and trouble, the city had seen in recent times.
