Somewhere in Jordan

Before landing in Jordan, I hadn’t researched too much. And therefore, I must say it was such a pleasant surprise to see all the greenery around.

Wordless Wednesday: Boston Public Garden

When I visited Boston during my first visit to USA last October, I was completely in love with the city. While I got to spend only one night there, I really loved whatever the city had to offer. The Boston Public Garden in the center of the city is the perfect place to lose yourself amidst all the greenery. There are benches at different places and the tall thick trees provide a cover fr0m the sun as well.

100 word fiction: View

“This is simply beautiful. All I can see is miles and miles of green. And to top it all, the colors of the sunset are gorgeous. Now I realize what I had missed for the last couple of months.”

After his operation, this was the first time Rick had been able to accompany Ron for their weekly hike up the hills around their neighbourhood.

A day job as the Founder and CEO of a small startup, Rick had quite a tough job extinguishing small fires day in and day out. This hike was his way to take in the nature.

100 word fiction: The elixir of life

100 word fiction: The elixir of lifePHOTO PROMPT © CEAYR

It had been a harsh summer without the usual amounts of rain or snow. The trees in the park nearby seemed like they were crying out for water and care.

The birds on the other hand found some to drink from the small fountain in the center of the park while they flew from one place to another amidst their search.

The fountain was itself devoid of much of its water due to water conservation efforts by the authorities. But whatever remained, it was enough to quench the thirst of these creatures and acted as the perfect elixir of life.

Written for the photo prompt and you can read the other entries here.

Wordless Wednesday: Cloudy Kuwait

This pic is from the unprecedented rainy months last winter in Kuwait. It rained like there was no tomorrow.

While many rain records were broken, a lot of us who are used to 50 degree summers surely weren’t complaining as cool and cloudy days greeted us day in and day out. These were moments to cherish.

St James Park London

For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver.

Thursday Tree Love – Greenery at the Königsallee

Greenery at the Königsallee

Königsallee in Dusseldorf with its extensive list of fashion stores and retail chains is one of the most upscale districts in Europe. It has a canal running through its center with a lot many trees on either side.

This pic was taken in the Summer of 2018 when the drought in Europe was still at its peak. So you can imagine even after that, how green this place looks.
