The birds sing a song,
The roosters crow along,
The cool breeze blows day long,
As the light begins to prolong,
The colours in the sky belong,
And the clouds turn to shapes like oblong,
While the environment plays along,
The stay-at-home orders continue to prolong.

He had lived for years in a joint family environment. Whether it was the meals or the electricity and water bills; the emotions or even the gossip floating around, he had seen everything being shared.
But times had changed as newer members started getting added to the family. The irreconcilable differences over the last few months had given way to massive arguments.
He had never imagined that it would be possible, but the day had finally come when he was being thrown out of his own house.

“I completely agree. This is surely so much better than where I lived previously. My caretaker rarely watered me so much so that I had lost all my energy and was quite literally on the verge of death.”
The two leaves were lost in thoughts of their own as the time for some food was nigh.

“I see absolutely everything.”
Humans have quite literally destroyed the world which I have created. There have always been a slew of constant battles between humans, between humans and the environment and last but not the least between humans and animals.
I created a world where I hoped that living and non – living beings would coexist in harmony. Instead, factors like regions, religions, caste, creed and materialistic pursuits among others started to create divisions amongst humans.
Everyone wanted to get rich even if it meant stamping on the other person’s foot. Emotions didn’t have a place in this world of cut throat competition.
