Eyes

Eyes

He seemed shocked at what

all he had been forced to see

in that crazy house

Those greenish yellow

eyes told a thousand words as

he kept staring on

Coping with a crisis

Coping with a crisis

If possible,

we would emerge out of this pandemic by switching it off,

If possible,

we would fume less and smile more as the pandemic taught us that life is short,

Maybe this is just an aberration

for learning to cope with a crisis.

Despair

Despair

As it rained, delight

turned to despair seeing the

flood and landslide

While he was deft, he

lost control of his car which

ended up crashing

Din of screaming voices

Din of screaming voices

The day was a disappointing experience. It all began downhill from the time he moved into the new place. While he knew that shifting to a new city was going to be tough, he had made peace with the fact that this would help him rise higher in his career based on how capable he was.

But his new neighbours didn’t make things any easier. They always seemed hysterical. From yelling at their house help to fighting with each other, it was a din of screaming voices.

He found that there is nothing behind the wall except a space where the wind whistles. And so he decided to ensure that the doors and windows are made soundproof. Once done, he was able to live a much calmer life free from the stream of noise he was forced to handle day in and day out.

Happiness

Happiness

Staying happy is a choice to keep

the mind lucid and fresh.

Happiness is that feeling which one gets

seeing loved ones virtually as a rule during the pandemic.

One feels the happiest when its possible

to hug loved ones after months of lockdown.

Grey turns to blue

Grey turns to blue

Dusseldorf

It looks like a dull

and dreary day with the sun

lost amidst the clouds

Grey turns to blue

Dusseldorf

But then, grey turns to

blue and alleviates the

suffering of all

From almost being

underwater, the colours

have turned beautiful

It almost feels as

though the sunshine has devoured

the rain easily

Sun vs Clouds

Sun vs Clouds

Sun and the clouds were having a tiff

with the sun trying to win the battle

Clouds weren’t ready to take it lying down

and both decided on a face-off

White Sands

White Sands

The white sands were a magnet for tourists,

while activities like paragliding and scuba diving were fun, hardihood was key

They loved lazing on the beach

and getting scuttlebutt from friends,

When they were bored

they acted as if all the information was recondite
