  1. Beautifully said.

  2. I often think about all the training that leads up to this one event. Some wins and losses but, I think none are loser as they all made the cut.

Oh yes, the hard work which goes behind all the years of training is priceless. While winning always gives a fantastic feeling, there are winners and losers. But am sure, representing one’s country on the World stage has got to be up there as one of the best things to happen.

  3. Yes this is very true. Poignant lines. 🙂

  4. I admire each and every one of them, and your poem too.

  10. How very true, you have summed up their lives in such few words

Short but you have described it so well. Sometimes you don’t need to many words to get the point across.

  12. Short and succinct. And packs a punch. People are quick to “cancel” those who do not win medals without taking into account the hard work that goes in just to participate.

  13. Perfectly penned… loved it

  14. Sweat and blood of a sportsperson trickled down in your words. Well written!

  15. Wonderfully said in a just a few words.

  16. Passion, Toil, Dedication! 3 words yet making so much meaning. Loved reading this! Short yet awe-inspiring!

  17. I agree with you. Life of an olympian revolves around the points you have mentioned. Great observation.
