Washing, drying and
folding clothes was a routine
he became used to
Once everything was
set, the washing machine came
to life with a rumble
It had a life of
its own making the clothes dance
amidst the detergent
The clothes were at its
mercy and spun fast or slow
based on its whims and fancies
The clothes also had
exposure to different
temperatures
And when it was all
over, the clothes came out fresh
and smelling beautiful
