He stood there looking at their photos in remembrance of the times they spent together. While she was a scalawag of some sort, their friendship hit it off.
Though they did have their fights and arguments where she ended up with a moue of disdain, they laughed it off together at the end of the day.

People change with time. Maybe it’s time they both reconnected?
transitionofthoughts
Yeah people change due to different situations. Many a time connections break apart a people expect the other person to make the effort. It’s never too late to reconnect.

After 51 years I find I’m talking a lot less and my DH is gabbing away a mile a minute. Odd reversal.
transitionofthoughts

Maybe her husband was the jealous sort? Or maybe life moved on. Sorry to hear your friendship with her faded. Not sure if this is based on your life or not. Feels like it, but if it isn’t, good job of making it feel like it was.

Actually I didn’t write it thinking of it as per my personal experience. But now that you put it, I do feel that I have had such experiences over the years. But I guess in my case it wasn’t just marriage per say more a combination of factors like distance, getting busy, family life and more.

Ah, ok.
