Transition of Thoughts

Weaving thoughts into words

Story of November

Story of November

November, a month

when people anticipate

upcoming winter

November, a month

when people vouch to raise awareness

about men’s health issues

November, a month

with people on tenterhooks

about more lockdowns

November, a month

when even the aeolist

may not survive the pandemic

Bubble of uncertainty

  1. I had to look up what an aeolist was, but that’s okay! 🙂 Good write, and I love the expression “on tenterhooks” here — so accurate!

  2. Good description of how many are feeling!

  3. Leant a new rare word “aeolist”
    Nice poem

  4. Beverly Crawford

Aeolists is a new term to me, but I like the way it rolls from the tongue and I like the definition. I’ve known aeolists and didn’t know it!! Great write.

Thanks Beverly :). It was a new one for me too :D. But yeah it definitely is quite an interesting word.

  5. November, a month to remember: Other generations have had it as hard, have had it harder; we will get through this

    • transitionofthoughts

I am sure we will. Fingers crossed :). Humanity always recovers but sadly though the cost is high for many individuals.

      • And were it not we’d have out-eaten the world by now. I’m not implyng the need of periodic culls, just stating a fact

        • transitionofthoughts

Yeah I always believe that there are crests and troughs in our life. I am sure there will be a crest soon enough one day.

  6. Folks who take that ‘never gonna get me, it’s a hoax’ attitude ~~~ endanger us all. Lots of wisdom in your words today.

    • transitionofthoughts

Oh yes, quite sadly many such folks have lost their lives or their loved ones :(. And there are still many such who are suffering and endangering others.
