Transition of Thoughts

Weaving thoughts into words

Spring season

Those incessant sounds of birds all round

pale in front of anything else

flowers that are still to bloom

might overcome turmoil

still with a smile and

have set aside

time in which

to make

fruit

  1. Wow. This is a stunning piece. I enjoyed reading it greatly, especially this line:

“flowers that are still to bloom…” Wonderful imagery. <3

  2. “Still with a smile” setting aside time for summer’s final gifts of fruit is just a beautiful image 🙂

  3. hopefully, we can overcome turmoil with a smile.

  4. a lyrical nine-liner for Spring which puts on a refreshingly different perspective – the enjambement makes the reading soft and smooth

  5. Nicely done, with the poem’s message reiterating the line that inspired it.

  6. So glad you used September Tomatoes as inspiration for this wonderful, wonderful poem!!! (I could live on tomatoes.)
