Transition of Thoughts

Weaving thoughts into words

Cycling

Cycling

She had turned wheatish

as she loved to cycle all

the time in the sun

Her cat went along

by her side wherever she

took her bicycle

But this time she ended

up in a place where pets were

being refused entry

And so she decided

to go someplace else where

her cat could enter

Her cat had slowly

become an important part

of their family

Great poem, and wonderful photo. We just moved to an Over 55 community, and EVERYONE has a dog. It’s like living in a kennel.

Haha! I can completely understand. I guess over time pets definitely become part of the family more than one realizes it. Thanks for stopping by :).

  5. And this is a good one. Part of the family is precious.

  6. Our cats are family, definitely, and I couldn’t live anywhere they were not allowed. I love the image!

  7. the story is so tender and kind. love what you did with wheat here!

  8. Have you ever heard the sarcastic comment “It’s like trying to herd cats!”? Cats are so independent and sometimes haughty! LOVE this photo! 🙂 And also like the way you’ve used the word wheat here.

  9. So adorable!
    Cats are fun

  10. Yes, I always wish there are more pet friendly places.

Cycling with the cat sounds fun. I wonder if my Shitzu who looks like a cat would enjoy it too. 😉

You know when I went to the US last year, I was actually honestly surprised seeing the number of pet friendly places around. It was a sign of how important they consider pets unlike many other countries around the world. By the way I am sure your Shitzu would have fun on the cycling journey :).
