I have always loved taking pictures. Whether its the beaches or the parks, malls or restaurants, I like to save the memories whenever possible. While it may be irritating for some, it sure is fun for me.
But I have rarely taken pictures of everyday things. However odd it may seem, I guess we end up taking everyday things for granted. Or maybe they are simply not exciting enough to be part of our memories.
I guess most of the the time I have taken pictures of everyday things only when I needed them for a specific reason like if something was broken and needed to be repaired.
So this post is an ode to some of these everyday things.

Hi, Aseem. I’m glad you added your “collection” of everyday things to the challenge this week. It’s true that we rarely photograph these items in most cases except for technical support or a complaint to a company about a product!

Thanks for the lovely challenge Patricia :). Its so true that such items are only photographed in case of a complaint or if support is needed.

The thermos is colorful. Love that. The red hooks and purple handle of the backpack really stand out, too.

Thanks :). I have a maroon thermos as well. Guess sometimes one needs colours in the simplest of things as well :D.

Onions were on the menu for today. Salad fixings.

Ahh that’s nice. I love the spice they give to any food item :).

Interesting perspective on how we overlook our everyday objects Aseem. So true. I just took a bunch of photos of our new generator for insurance and warranty purposes. Would never have thought to do so otherwise. Fun array of everyday objects

Thanks Tina :).

Love your series – and thoughts on the subject of everyday. The first image of the thermos is just a hit. The colours and the lines make it stand out. Well done.

Thanks Leya :).
