Transition of Thoughts

Weaving thoughts into words

Birthday

Birthday

Over the years, I have always been lucky to spend my birthday with people I care about. While I was never interested to celebrate birthdays with too many people, I remember the ones during school days when my parents used to invite a few of my good friends home. After cutting the cake and the exchange of gifts we used to have a nice meal at the restaurant of my choice. Surely not too fancy but an evening well spent nonetheless.

Birthdays with friends and

family are the ones which

are cherished always

  4. this carries wisdom. it is not the cake or the gifts, it is the people you celebrate with. 🙂

  5. Intimate birthdays with people we care about are the best, and most of mine have been that way. Your birthdays during school days sound perfect, that’s when you really want to celebrate with friends.

I quite agree with you on the fact about intimate birthdays as I have always found them more loving than ones where there are too many people and most are just interested in the cake and the food ;). Great to know that most of your birthdays have also been this way :).

  6. They are! (K)

  7. It really is all about the acknowledgement, anything to make it special. Over the years, I think picking out my restaurant of choice was one of the best parts.
