If you think about Kuwait’s weather, all you can imagine is the heat.

I will leave it to your imagination as to how you would deal with the 50 degree Celsius heat we see here every summer.

But Kuwait has quite a few months of winter as well when the weather is perfect for visiting the numerous parks and beaches.

The one thing which was quite a surprise was the fact that Kuwait has many farms as well. And farms whose pictures make you feel that you are back in India.

What happened after all these years?

  1. 50 degrees is too much for me – I don’t understand how anyone or anything can survive in this. And your beautiful farm photos are incredible – much irrigating there. I did not know about farming over there – quite the surprise.

Yeah farming here was a surprise for me too. But yeah there are quite a few places around the Middle East where farming thrives to a certain extent despite the sweltering temperatures.

  2. Wow. Nothing like fresh produce!

  3. This is certainly a surprise to me as well. The concept of farming and and extreme heat. I know there is ostrich farming in for instance Saudi Arabia but they can tolerate heat. Crop farming is certainly a surprise

Yeah its generally not too much. But I guess many countries in the region have adapted their farming methods to the rough climate all year round.
