“This hotel is beautiful. We took the right decision when we chose this for our holiday. It caters to tourists of all ages.”

They were a family of four residing far up north away from the hustle and bustle of city life. But they knew that they had to ring in the New Year 2020 with the entire family in the capital amidst all the music and dance.

The food was finger licking good. The hotel staff treated them like royalty. The children were having fun. Little did they know that this would be their last holiday for a long time.

  1. Is it the pandemic that stopped them having holidays?

Guess they had never thought that the New Year holiday would be their last for a long time.

  2. A sweet story and a reminder to always grab our moments when we can. Thanks for sharing.

  3. A frightening tale yet they never saw it coming….they…I mean, we!

Yeah I doubt any of us would have ever thought or even planned for something like this. Am sure most of us are learning and adapting on a day to day basis.

  4. I know what you mean. I remember the last group lunch my friends and I had, and we were planning on meeting up the next week at a pub for dinner, drinks, and live music. That was mid-March.

Ahh can completely understand. One can never plan for something like this. I hope that once we are able to go back to pre-COVID days, we actually cherish basic things like meeting friends, walking in a park, eating out and everything else.
