Transition of Thoughts

Weaving thoughts into words

Loneliness reared its ugly head,

Creating mental health issues along its path,

Conflicts arose amongst those at home,

Increasing divorces and domestic violence issues,

Economic pressures multiplied manifold,

Causing people to go hungry and struggle for survival,

But humans survived and adapted,

The world went online within a matter of weeks,

A lot of families and couples bonded like never before,

Nature thrived and life went on in more ways than one,

There wasn’t all doom and gloom as one saw through the portals ahead.

Ten Word Story: Fatigue

  1. I agree. There are real possibilities opening up now.

    • transitionofthoughts

I guess that’s the greatest aspect of things, ain’t it?

      • Yes, there is that perspective. Sometimes chaos opens the way for new creative possibilities.

        • transitionofthoughts

Definitely it does. We just need to be ready to catch hold of those possibilities and make them into opportunities to do something different and better :).

  2. So true…humans are adept at adapting!

    • transitionofthoughts

True that. I guess that’s whats the best part :).

  3. Yea, ain’t that the truth… 🙂

  4. There have been some positive outcomes and you portray them well. 🙂

  5. Good point that it was not all gloom and doom: “A lot of families and couples bonded like never before”

    • transitionofthoughts

True that Frank. I guess its always great to see that we humans are able to overcome challenges like these in our own ways :).

  6. Beverly Crawford

The versatility of humankind is amazing. In no time there are zoom on line meetings and family gatherings, pastors are reaching beyond their churches in way they never dreamed, and people are finding many creative ways to help those in need. An at once sobering and enlightening time.

    • transitionofthoughts

True that. The ability of humans to survive and overcome the difficulties are amazing to say the least.

  7. life is not a coin with two sides, rather the two sides are life itself. I like this.

  8. Uttara Saran

Aspects are always divergent. But the name of the game is always to ADAPT!

Thanks Aunty 🙂 And am sure humans around the world are adapting in more ways than I ever imagined. It’s fantastic to see that.
