  3. Such a lovely shot and perfect for the Water Water Everywhere challenge. I am missing the macro aspect for my Sunshine’s Macro Monday but it is a great photo.

      Thanks Irene :). Actually since you had mentioned a 1:1 ratio, I thought you may have referred to the aspect ratio so this pic was according to that. But maybe I guess by macro you only mean when we go to the details, is it?

      • I understand where you are coming from. My understanding of macro photography is that it is extreme close-up photography, usually of small subjects. The 1:1 ratio refers to the amount of the main subject as it fills the camera’s sensor. The subject on the sensor should be at least life size or larger. That is usually not possible without a macro lens that allows you to get in close or a large zoom lens. For the purpose of this challenge, I do not stick to the true definition of macro photography or the 1:1 ratio since not everyone has a macro lens. Close up photography is just fine. I hope this helps.
