Somewhere in USA
They loved going for long drives every weekend. But this time they wanted to do something different. With regular supplies to last for quite a while including an emergency first aid kit, they set off in their RV for the trip of a lifetime. They intended to drive across America and experience the surroundings firsthand.

Weekends in Maine
The thought of driving cross country use to make me cringe but as I’ve gotten older I definitely understand the appeal more. Hope they have a great trip.Weekends In Maine
While I am not personally sure about a cross country road trip, I definitely like shorter ones just for the love of driving and also for experiencing the surroundings without having to hurry in a cab or a train or even by air.
Wont it be arduous to go across the country? However it must be worth the efforts! Good thought expressed well.
Yeah arduous for sure. But I think road trips in general are a great way to see the countryside at one’s own pace.
It is a dream for me and my husbad to drive across India annd have a memorable road trip. We are waiting for our kids to grow up a little so that they can take the exhaution that comes along with a road trip
I love (and miss) road trips! Wonder where yours is going?
My H today is about Swiss farmers’ “Hofladen”: https://thethreegerbers.blogspot.com/2020/04/a-z-2020-switzerland-hofladen-honesty.html
Road trips are a fun way to see the surroundings at one’s own pace and take in the environment without having to hurry. This one is intended to go cross country in the US.
What I wouldn’t give to go back to the time when we could actually go out. Hope this gets over soon. Take care.
As someone has truly said, this too shall hopefully pass.
I like road trips but not a very long one’s.
I love long travels, road trips included 😉

Driving across America sounds like heaven right now. I hope it’ll be possible soon. I enjoyed your post.
Thanks Katherine. I am sure we shall all get through this together sooner rather than later :).
