Rock-n-Rogers 50s Diner was one of the most happening hotspots on the Interstate highway. While at face value it was simply a restaurant serving some of the best chicken wings and steaks in town, it surely had an emotional connect with almost anyone you asked.

Whether you had gone through a breakup, had a date or just wanted to relax and have some delicious food, this was the place to be.

You could rarely find people who were on the Interstate but didn’t stop at 50s Diner at least once. to satisfy their cravings and have an experience to remember.

  1. Mom and Pop diners in remote locations are an important hub in a community. With the COVID causing mayhem the diners are shut down. I’m sure a lot of people across the nation/globe are feeling disoriented because of it. Thank you for highlighting the noble small town diner.

Yeah I am sure these diners have a life of their own when compared to other big fast food joints. I am sure better times would come sooner rather than later. Thanks for stopping by :).

  2. I went to a Hard Rock Cafe in London back in the 90s. Great food, great fun, and my introduction to “pudding” in the form of Death by Chocolate dessert. Unforgettable, and great memories 🙂

I guess that it is closed now? Hopefully not for long…we all need places to go

Yeah hopefully things can get better sooner rather than later.
