Thursday Tree Love – Greenery at the Königsallee

Greenery at the Königsallee

Königsallee in Dusseldorf with its extensive list of fashion stores and retail chains is one of the most upscale districts in Europe. It has a canal running through its center with a lot many trees on either side.

This pic was taken in the Summer of 2018 when the drought in Europe was still at its peak. So you can imagine even after that, how green this place looks.

100 word fiction: The experiment

Wordless Wednesday: Greenery in all its hues

  1. Inspite of the high end place this could be, that canal and trees look so close to nature. What a beautiful entry. Welcome to Thursday Tree Love. So happy to see you around. I hope you are well. Happy New Year!

  2. The drought seems to have side steeped this area.. or is it that the canal waters nurture these lovely trees.. i wonder.. whatever the case, a cooling blissful sight in summers 🙂

  3. Very serene sight and no trace of the drought you mention. I guess the canal provides enough humidity through the soil to each of these trees to sustain themselves inspite of the scanty water.

Yeah the canal was a delight with the trees by the side. I guess the drought shone in the river nearby which had much less water than before and a lot of grass had turned brown too.

  4. Simply gorgeous, loved the way you have captured this images of trees on either side, brilliant.
