“We need to put an urgent stop to this. It’s not right for us to go on as our kids aren’t happy.”
While one was going through a painful divorce, the other had lost his partner to a painful death due to cancer. Both longed for unconditional love and care. What started off as a chance meeting in the court moved on to regular walks in the garden hand in hand all day. They discussed their happiness, their sadness, their dreams and more.
But as soon as their kids found out their story, their dream world was shattered to pieces.
I am participating in the A to Z challenge in April and the theme I have chosen is Micro-fiction.
