#AtoZChallenge 2016 – Theme Reveal: Micro-fiction

A2Z-BADGE2_[2016]

And so finally, some great bloggers have inspired me to take up my first ever blogging challenge around 7 years after starting this blog. I guess a mixture of laziness and the lack of motivation held me back all these years. But it’s never too late, is it?

So what is the AtoZchallenge?

This is a challenge where you blog daily during April except Sundays and each post is based on a particular theme and corresponds to the sequential letters of the alphabet.

So what is my theme?

I am going ahead with Micro-fiction which would include a potpourri of 55 word stories, 100 word stories, 42 word stories, 6 word stories and 5 sentence stories.

This topic is particularly close to my heart since I have tried to experiment with various forms of micro-fiction over the years as a means to improve my writing. And therefore, there’s nothing better than challenging oneself through a daily blogging challenge, isn’t it?

Being my first time, I do hope to keep pace with the other bloggers and try to keep learning and creating good content each day in April.
