Though she was all of 8 years, Anne loved all sorts of physical activities.

Seeing her tired from all the exercise and hop skip and jump in the day,

her mother kissed her to sleep and turned off the light every night.

  3. It was when she turned 24 that Anne would return the favour in kind.
    Seeing her now frail mother tired from the grind and pressure from the day,
    she kissed her cheek, tucked her in, and lay by her side every night.
