Blogging Journey to a self hosted blog

Blogging Journey

It’s been 7.5 years since I began blogging. When I started my journey, blogging was just about penning down my thoughts and feelings. It simply felt like an online diary where I could rant about anything and everything under the sun. It’s taken lot of hard yards on the road to a self hosted blog.

For posts where we need to research online before writing, it’s upto us not to fall into the temptation of surfing online and forgetting our primary goal. Once we complete a blog post, the comments, shares and the likes we get (or don’t) motivate us to write even more.

1. Infrequent blog posts on topics not worth posting about in the first place (i.e. posts about being busy, posts that promise more posts in the future, and so on)
2. Few (or close to zero) comments on any of your posts
3. Little enthusiasm or drive on your part to contribute new material to the blog
4. The existence of numerous blogs that do what you try to do better, funnier, or faster
