“These guys seem to play the game ‘without their brains’.” A former player himself, he had made a name in the world of commentary over the years with his insightful analysis and forthright views.

But little did he know that his sarcastic comment would rekindle the fire in their belly and they would rise from the ashes like a phoenix.

There was a time when they were labelled as mercenaries who ran behind money rather than having pride in representing their country.

But they came back from being labelled as a bunch of no-hopers to being world beaters by using all the negative talk as a motivational tool in an us against the world scenario.

I am participating in the A to Z challenge in April  and the theme I have chosen is Micro-fiction
