“So I guess, this is it. It’s really saddening that all our years of love and happiness had to end in such a way. Was it so difficult for you to maintain a long distance relationship?

He didn’t answer and just walked away to the nearby restaurant leaving me empty and lonely. The sky was getting gloomier as the minutes ticked by. As the snowflakes began to fall on my face, I could feel the dull surroundings mirror the emotions in my heart.

I stood there hoping that he would look back at least once but it wasn’t to be.

      Yeah Ruby, it just left her shell shocked. Was as though the ground below her feet was split open.

    The long-distance marriage has made them grow apaŕt.

      She was hoping against hope that they would have stayed together but he had already moved far away. So far that she couldn’t even reach him how much ever she tried.

      She will have to start her life back from square on all over again. It seemed as though all the years of happiness didn’t really mean anything to him. He had already moved far away.
