100 word fiction – Her touch..

Lonely without her..

Lonely without her..

PHOTO PROMPT – Copyright – Jan Wayne Fields

“David! Dinner is ready. While we change and come along, you can serve yourself and begin.”

The Smith’s had shifted to a new city and a new house far away from the pollution and maddening traffic which had troubled them day in and day out.

While his parents were delighted with the change, David was missing everything from the surroundings to the friends he had made all these years.

But above all, he missed her touch more than anything else. While he was actually there in person, it seemed as though a part of him had stayed back with her.

Written for the photo prompt and you can read the other entries here.
