“How can you even think of taking a bath when we don’t even have enough drinking water?”

They were facing the worst drought in decades. With destroyed crops and deaths due to excessive thirst, the drought had started to affect daily lives. There was water all around the island but not a drop to drink.

    Instead of all this money spent on weapons, can you imagine what a world it would have been if that money were used to make sea/salt water safe for drinking? 2/3rds of the world is composed of it and we still have so many dying without water… we must look like downright imbeciles to aliens observing us.

      True that Roshan. Along with that despite droughts getting common as years go by, rainwater harvesting isn’t given too much importance even today.

  2. We need to take care of our resources for our coming generations…indeed it’s a serious issue.

      Sadly, our future generations will pay the price for the wastage and lack of care we show.
